How many CLE hours are required?
Twelve (12) CLE credits are required every compliance period. The continuing legal education activities must be approved by the Kansas CLE Commission, including a minimum of 2 credit hours of ethics and professionalism. Attorneys have the option of attending up to six (6) credit hours of distance learning programming per compliance year.
When is my education due?
All continuing legal education activities must be completed by June 30 of each compliance period.
Can I carry hours forward to the next year?
Any credits earned via prerecorded programming (distance learning) in excess of the six credit limit will not carry over into the next compliance period.
Does CLE Academy report my CLE hours completed?
Yes, CLE Academy will report all completed course credits to the Kansas CLE Commission within 30 days of course completion.
How many hours of audio-delivered programs can I complete per year?
Attorneys have the option of attending up to six (6) credit hours of distance learning programming per compliance year.
