Description
The Law of Implicit Bias course relates to legal subjects directly relevant to members of the State Bar and has significant current professional and practical content because the issues addressed are discrimination in general, discrimination in employment, diversity in the workplace, hostile environment, racial discrimination, discrimination in educational institutions, bias, the role of government and debiasing, and how legal rules/antidiscrimination law might seek to reduce the impact of implicit bias. Additional legal subjects the course examines are affirmative action and consciously biased decision-making in relation to antidiscrimination laws.
