Description
The Workplace and Alcohol Problem Prevention course relates to legal subjects directly relevant to members of the State Bar and has significant current professional and practical content because the article addresses workplace programs that prevent and reduce alcohol-related problems among employees, the role of EAPs in the workplace, the risk factors for alcohol problems that exist in the work environment and how peer-assistance programs aid professional groups such as attorneys. The course additionally addresses the roles of coworkers and managers in prevention of alcohol abuse in the workplace and applicable studies to motivate behavioral change toward less risky drinking and a healthier lifestyle in general.
